Yeager Russell Wedding Suite

Bride Heather asked me to design her wedding invitations for her upcoming spring wedding. She didn't really have a particular theme or color in mind, but she wanted it to reflect a "steampunk goes romantic" type of look, and her wedding flowers would be shades of amber and orange. I researched steampunk imagery, and wanted to capture something more elegant than cogs or gears, so I chose an ornate clock as one of the designs. She also loved the look of hand lettered calligraphy, and so I hand lettered and scanned in the bride and groom's name for the invitation suite. The bride loved the calligraphy and the clock, and couldn't wait to mail her invites!
The bride had a very limited budget of under $350, and so working with that budget, we printed the invitations digitally on Cougar 80lb White stock. The envelopes were Stardream Metallic in Amber, with calligraphy in transparent brown ink.
